July / August 2006: Issue No:16
Welcome to our newsletter which incorporates the months of July and August and enables us to inform you of events, special deals and services that are on offer at this time.
We are really looking forward to the 4 Abbeys Bike Challenge which will be taking place on Saturday 15th September 2007. This sponsored cycle begins and finishes at 100 Aker Wood. The circular route goes though the beautiful Borders countryside taking in the 4 abbeys of Melrose, Dryburgh, Kelso and Jedburgh. Our very own Managing Director Mark Riddell will be completing the challenge - in a Tigger costume! Please help us raise as much money as possible for Children 1st by sponsoring Mark
The Melrose Bistro is becoming ever more popular and as well as being open later this summer it is available for party nights and functions. If you are interested please phone us on 01896 823717 and a member of staff will be happy to help.
Do You Like Spending Time With Animals?
Most of our animals are rescue animals and need a bit of TLC just like the rest of us. If you think you can spare a few hours every week to come in and spend some quality time with our furry friends on a voluntary basis, don't hesitate to contact us.
